Research Interest:
Investigation of functional enhancements of rumen and intestinal microbiomes through the discovery, analysis, and modification of bacterial-glycan interactions. To achieve these interests, we are developing novel in situ methods and coupling them with microbial omics-based analysis to bridge the gap between potential functions and actual activity in single cells and complex communities.
